Pete is a licensed professional bass fishing guide on Lake Fayette County.  He was introduced to the outstanding bass fishing Lake Fayette County has to offer in the mid 80’s and has enjoyed fishing the lake ever since.  He offers guided trips on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from October through June.

He moved to Fayetteville to be close to the lake, as he considers it to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in Texas. As a result he is able to keep up with the most productive patterns and areas to fish by fishing the lake often.  While not guiding he spends much of his free time graphing submerged farm ponds, creek channels, foundations, points, and roadbeds to advance his knowledge of how and when to fish them the best.

As a guide, Pete loves to fish a jig for those Lake Fayette County lunkers.  He owns Lake Fayette Tackle Company (LFTC) and builds custom rods and hand tied jigs.  The “Texas Craw” is his favorite and is very effective at catching big bass! Consequently, he keeps several jig rods rigged and ready to go!

His Skeeter boat is equipped with Lowrance HDS Live graphs and a Ghost trolling motor.
